We loved our stay at the Millhouse, full of character and history. The house was clean, bathrooms spotless, towels nice, mattress comfortable, all as advertised. The only thing you need to do is shop for food. Nice sitting area inside; outside you could make a fire with wood provided for the fire pit or sit at the patio table & chairs; we did both. Surroundings were perfect after a day in Glacier. Location is great. No A/C but the house stays surprisingly cool. Great info in the Guest Book, especially maps for the park. Highly recommend!

The house was cozy and well stocked! It is very relaxing to hang out in the outdoor area. Location for Glacier is perfect. Doyle was available near the property to text with any questions or if we needed anything.

Nice location for traveling back and forth to the west entrance of Glacier. Setting was quiet and peaceful. House was comfortable and clean. Bear spray was a nice perk. We found other things to do in the area including eating at nice restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely house located near the west entrance to Glacier Park. It is also very near the Northfork, the Hungry Horse Dam, Whitefish and more. Getting to the west entrance was quick and easy, and the eastern entrance was not too distant and when we came home, we had nice scenery and peaceful surroundings. Great hosts, responsive to all our needs. We were six people, three senior couples who like to hike and the house gave us everything we needed. Definitely recommend this home and would be happy to stay here again.

The house was well located for our visit to Glacier Park. It was clean and well stocked. The check in process was easy, and the hosts were prompt in their communication.

We had a great stay at the house. It's just a 12-minute drive from the cabin to the west entrance of Glacier. The house is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Rosemary and Doyle answered all of our questions promptly. Highly recommend.

Always a great place to stay for our annual Glacier cycling trip. It's very comfortable, with lots of space, a beautiful setting and we love the outdoor setting areas.

This was a very charming, historic home, cozy and peaceful setting, WiFi worked great. Upstairs en suite master is large and completely charming. Great place to escapte from crowds. House cooled quickly with fans and open widows in the evening. No A/C necessary here! Rosemary's communication was great.

The Abbott Valley Homestead Mill House was a unique place to stay. Rosemary and Doyle made sure everything was accounted for…including providing bear spray for guests. The house is located within perfect distance from Glacier.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Historic Millhouse. It was a great location, close to Glacier. Everyone loved the house, there was even a high chair for our 1 year old. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was our first time visiting GNP & our stay was wonderful! The location was ideal-roughly 10 minutes from the West Entrance to GNP, close to groceries, gas, food and drinks, and many things to do. The property was beautiful. The cabin was extremely clean! We were so impressed with the cleanliness and space! The beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets and pillows!

Great place to stay - super cute and comfortable. We've stayed here multiple times and Rosemary is always great to work with. Easy distance into Glacier Park.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The place is located in a quiet, secluded area that is about 15min to West Glacier NP and about 30min to Kalispell. It was also nice to just stroll around the surrounding area. Lots of nature to see. Great experience. Would come again. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and super close to Glacier National Park. Hosts had a great guest book made up with all kinds of things to do in the area. The homestead property is really nice and I will gladly stay here again on my next trip to Glacier!

The house was cozy. We liked the treed setting and sense of peaceful calm. Although we didn’t use the barbecue, it was nice to know it was available. The convenience to GNP is a terrific plus. Travel to surrounding towns is easy and pretty quick. The Mill House is a great choice when three bedrooms and two baths are desired.

Very clean and charming farmhouse feel. Beds were super comfortable and large kitchen well equipped to cook anything and conducive to hanging out. Excellent washer and dryer. Many thoughtful items available to make you feel at home such as bear spray, bug repellant, and plenty of towels. Very convenient to Glacier Park.

Enjoyed staying at the Millhouse! We felt like it had all the comforts of Grandma's! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the outside amenities! Only suggestion is to get a few more coffee mugs.

We had a wonderful time. The location is relaxing and close to the Park. It was very clean and I recommend the Millhouse. We appreciated all the little touches! There were information booklets that will help everyone to have a hood time. The host gave us some vital information. We all loved it.Thank you for making our trip unforgettable.

My family and I LOVED staying at the Millhouse! It was sparkling clean, spacious, cozy, and was extremely well equipped. The beds were very comfy. We cooked dinner there and were surprised at the great selection of pots and pans, utensils, and cooking spices. The setting is stunningly beautiful. It's in a quiet, tucked away location but just minutes away from the entrance to Glacier National Park. Our only regret about this stay was that we only booked it for one night!

Great house and location. Convenient to travel to Glacier and has a nice woodsy surrounding. It was kept very clean and had essentials for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This was our second stay at Abbott Valley Homestead, in 2014 we stayed in Baptiste with our sons and loved it so much we wanted to bring some friends to experience it. This year we traveled with two other couples and stayed in the Millhouse. It was just perfect. Quiet, serene and as beautiful as we remembered. The house was very nice with just the right touches to keep us comfortable and still feeling “away from it all.” One of the things I most appreciate about your properties is the little touches all around the outdoor areas, the pavilion/deck behind the house, little paths with unexpected benches, the swing set, all the flowers. These things really add to the enjoyment of the property and feel authentic and homey – not “contrived” or touristy.

We’ll be back! And we will always recommend your property to anyone who asks! Lori

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to this part of the country. We loved the beauty of Glacier and the serene quiet of Bowman and Kintla Lakes. It was so nice to come home to the Millhouse each evening, fix some dinner and enjoy the patio and outdoor spaces.

We only stayed 2 nights and spent most of our days in Glacier but this home was clean, spacious and very family friendly. We didn't even get a chance to use the outside covered patio, outside grill or outside stove due to the rain. There were 3 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room. Doyle came around dusk to turn the lights on in case we hadn't arrived. Very friendly.

We've stayed twice at the Millhouse and enjoyed both our stays. Our kids spent hours running around outside on the property (creek, meadow, etc), and the house is comfortable and big enough for four adults and two kids to spread out. I love the separate master suite upstairs. A deer visited often; a hummingbird had a nest right outside. Lovely and restful visit, and an easy drive to Glacier -- I anticipate we will be back.

We feel so fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem. Would love to spend a month, not just three days. Very central to Big Fork, Kalispell, Whitefish and Glacier National Park. We stayed I. The three bedroom, two bath Millhouse. A perfect choice. Very comfortable and cozy. We love the outdoor eating and seating areas. The babbling brook is pure serenity. A nearby horse gave me my daily equine fix. We will definitely be back!

What a delightful place Abbott Valley Historical Ranch is. We recently stayed at the Millhouse that is a three bedroom, two bath which was perfect for our group this year. It was so relaxing. There is a wonderful covered barbecue area out back, the perfect place for outdoor dining. Inside is clean and comfortable. A great way to relax and enjoy the view. Abbott Valley is nestled into the beautiful rocky mountains not far off the main highway, but far enough that you do not hear traffic. Is so peaceful. Caretaker/owner Doyle is a delight and so accommodating for all of our needs. Thank you Doyle and Abbott Valley for a most delightful stay. I would highly recommend this property. Whether there are two in your family or twenty two there is room for everyone. Four years ago we rented four cabins for sixteen of us. This year there were only six of us so only needed one cabin, but we definitely will be back either for another large family gathering or two of us visiting kids in the area. This is a perfect relaxing getaway.

We came from Florida with our two dogs, Grizzly and Rocky, to enjoy the beautiful country setting and atmosphere. Glacier was great, but the best part was coming back "home" every day after day trips. Seldom does a vacation house turn out to be all that you expect-but the Millhouse felt like "home" the minute we walked in last week. Your ranch and the beauty & peacefulness here were even better than we hoped! Our boys think this is the best vacation ever and none of us want to leave. Thanks for providing a place for me to show my city kids how much fun life in the country truly is….. We will miss your place and hope to return again.
